Congratulations, Felismina!

Please join us in praising God for the graduation of AlphaCare client, Felismina!

In 2019, Mina was awarded the New Horizons Scholarship from Cairn University (watch us share the news with her below!), which covered the cost of her tuition for four years. As a single mom to two boys, continuing her education was no easy feat. Beginning in the fall of 2020, she overcame many challenges throughout her time at Cairn – but through perseverance, prayer, and the Lord’s sustenance she was able to graduate with her bachelor’s in social work last weekend.

Many of you prayed for, encouraged, and supported Mina in a variety of ways, perhaps without even knowing her name. We are so grateful to see the ways God has faithfully carried her and her family to the finish line and filled her with excitement at what is to come.

As she ended her senior internship a few weeks ago, Mina accepted a full-time position at Face to Face as the Housing Navigator, and will start her new role on May 13th. We are so proud of her hard work and deep desire to help others in her new career.
