From the Director’s Desk

 

Change. There has been so much of it for us all. The past few months have been full of shifts from “normalcy”, but your steady support through giving, praying and volunteering have been unchanging and priceless gifts to us and to the women and families we serve. We thank our faithful, changeless God for you.

 

While change often feels uncomfortable, it can also present surprising opportunities for growth. AlphaCare has stretched and creatively advanced to meet the pandemic challenges: full schedules of remote appointments and in-person appointments gradually increasing with extra safety precautions firmly in place for clients and staff alike. Women continue to come to AlphaCare for help and hope throughout this pandemic and we’re grateful for God’s provisions.

 

Looking toward our future, AlphaCare is seeking the Lord’s wisdom and direction for strategic ways to optimize the assets, resources and opportunities He has provided. The Board and staff have invested time the past few months developing a new strategic plan for AlphaCare’s future. This plan includes strategies for deepening partnerships across the city, increasing opportunities for volunteer involvement, and adding additional space to host a ’boutique,’ where moms can select items for their babies.

 

This just scratches the surface of our plan. I have much more to share with you as we partner together for AlphaCare’s future, confident that God will lead us every step of the way. Thank you again for sacrificially giving toward our mission. With God’s help, we will continue loving, serving and sharing the gospel with women across the city who need our help and hope.
