Moving in a New Direction
Do you remember her? Ifeoluwa is a client-turned-donor, and a few months ago she shared her story with you.
When she found out she was pregnant, Ifeoluwa had the support of her husband, but still felt alone. As a recent immigrant and a military spouse with a husband stationed out-of-state, Ifeoluwa did not want to go through her pregnancy feeling isolated. She began searching close to home for support.
Then Ifeoluwa found AlphaCare. She described her first visit as one of warmth and welcoming from AlphaCare’s staff. Because of your partnership, Ifeoluwa’s experience filled her with hope and moved within her a desire to help other pregnant women and their families. Around the time that she shared her story, Ifeoluwa chose to partner with AlphaCare when she made her first gift.
“I just couldn’t help but be a part of what you guys do.”
Ifeoluwa plans to continue her partnership and encourages others to do the same. She knows first-hand what a difference this ministry makes.
Since you last heard from Ifeoluwa, she’s been praying for a new home and a new job. Being in the military, Ifeoluwa’s husband has been stationed in Texas while Ifeoluwa remained at their home in Philadelphia during her pregnancy and through the birth of their baby girl. Once their daughter was born, Ifeoluwa’s husband was able to come home – but when the time was up, he had to return to his station and was again separated from his wife and baby.
Ifeoluwa and her husband have been longing for their family to be reunited in the same household, so she’s been praying that a relocation to Texas would be made possible in God’s timing. Ifeoluwa’s prayers were answered! She and her husband just purchased a beautiful, brand-new house in Houston. In the same week, Ifeoluwa was blessed with a great job offer, which she accepted.
“My family and my pregnancy journey would not have been the same just without having AlphaCare.”
Praise God for His provision in reuniting this family! Please pray for a smooth transition for Ifeoluwa and her family as they move this summer and as she starts her new job in August.
