Thanks to You We Can Keep the Mobile Medical Unit on the Road!

Did you know that it costs around $365 to staff and run the mobile medical unit (MMU) for one day? But did you also know that having our mobile unit on the road in 2017 allowed us to reach 35% more moms and babies? According to these numbers, the cost is well worth the benefits. We couldn’t afford to keep our MMU rolling, and keep reaching those moms and babies if it weren’t for the funds we receive through our Baby Bottle Campaigns.

Each year churches, small groups and book clubs across the Philadelphia area hold Baby Bottle Campaigns, collecting coins, dollars and checks in baby bottles to support the operation expenses of the MMU. In 2017 the Baby Bottle Campaigns raised over $12,000!

What a difference those dollars make in enabling us to keep the mobile unit rolling, and allowing us to continue offering hope and help where the moms of Philadelphia need us most.
