Updated Client Website: alphacarephilly.org

AlphaCare is excited to announce the launch of our newly updated website alphacarephilly.org! Our fresh site went live last month, and since then has been providing our online visitors with a more interactive and informative experience.

This client-oriented website (distinctly different from our support-oriented website friendsofalphacare.org) now includes an “Experience” tab that gives insight as to what potential clients should expect when scheduling/coming to an appointment at our office or on the Mobile Medical Unit. The “Services” tab provides extensive detail as to the many ways we can come alongside a pregnant woman with support. Our website also now allows visitors to see where our Mobile Medical Unit parks and lists it as an option when requesting an appointment. With the online chat option, our staff can start conversations with visitors of our site and answer questions they may have in real-time.

We hope that our new website is more easily navigated and more visually appealing, and we pray that more women will find us online and seek our services because of it.

As you take a look at the new website, you may find yourself wondering…
1. Why don’t we explicitly state that we are a Christian organization? While we don’t hide the fact that we are a Christian organization from our clients, we refrain from stating it explicitly on our website so as to not deter any pregnant woman in need of help from entering our doors and seeking our services. We provide services regardless of our clients’ religious background; it is important  we make them feel as welcome as possible.
2. Why do we mention the word “abortion” on our website even though we don’t perform them? In order to help women searching online for pregnancy-related services find us, we include words commonly used in their searches (this is SEO: Search Engine Optimization). While we talk about abortion on our website, we are careful not to deceive our potential clients into believing we perform or refer for abortions. Our website provides visitors with information about our services and resources with the hope that they come to understand abortion isn’t their only option.
