2017 Annual Banquet: Connecting Caring Communities

We had a fantastic time together on Thursday, September 28 for both our Annual Banquet and our newly added Luncheon. It is always so encouraging to be surrounded by the people who love and give to support our ministry.

Both events were well attended with a total of 360 guests. Our banquet speaker, Bishop Vincent Mathews, shared a motivating testimony and call to action; reminding us that we cannot be distracted by the unimportant, but instead must press hard toward our vital mission, for the good of Philadelphia and to the glory of God. Executive Director, Karen Hess also gave a compelling ministry update, sharing what God is doing through AlphaCare and how He is moving us forward on His mission.

Through the kindness and the generosity of our supporters, we received more than $150,000 in donations. We are humbled and blessed by the generous hearts of God’s people, and are excited to see how God continues to work through AlphaCare as a result of these funds. A hearty ‘thank you’ to all of our event sponsors, table hosts, and volunteers who made our banquet a success!
